In 2013 our founder, Shaun McDuffee, and a small group of fellow Financial Advisors, decided to set a goal  of walking 3652 miles, the distance from the east coast to the west coast of the United States, to raise awareness for Alzheimer’s and Dementia.   The goal is to walk a series of 36 – 100 mile (plus) walks over 9 years.   Instead of walking straight across the U.S., as was our original intent, the group decided to walk the 3652 mile distance in segments across some of the most populated routes in EVERY state.  (Hard to raise awareness walking through desolate, unpopulated areas)  We felt that since Alzheimer’s will not “skip a state”,  neither will we! Our goal is to have a cure by the time we finish the 3652 miles.
